photo of Tiffany Anderson Superintendent of Topeka schools Tiffany Anderson, Ph.D., is an advocate for children of poverty and color in public schools. In 2014, she earned national recognition from Education Week as one of “16 Leaders to Learn From.”
photo of Bob Eye Attorney Bob Eye serves on the board of directors for ACLU of Kansas as well as the Nuclear Information and Resource Service in Washington, D.C. He will talk about civil rights cases, specifically voting rights.

Business of Convention
LWVK bylaws Article VII defines the composition and business of the convention. Our bylaws direct us to conduct the following:

  • Elect officers, directors, and three members of the nominating committee for the 2017-2019 biennium
  • Adopt a budget for the 2017-2018 fiscal year
  • Approve 2015-2017 proposed position
  • Adopt program for 2017-2019
  • Adopt amendments to the bylaws as needed
